For meaningful absolute SPL work, calibrate the microphone and input chain. Without calibration, measurements are clearly treated as relative rather than pretending every phone microphone is a certified measurement instrument.

Questions before the show?
Is LIVE TOOLS only for musicians?
No. LIVE TOOLS is designed for musicians, bands, music teachers and live-audio users. Performance tools focus on the show; Sound tools cover measurement, analysis, signal generation and network diagnostics.
Can I use an external microphone or audio interface?
LIVE TOOLS can use compatible external USB, line or wired audio inputs where supported by the device.
Is LEVEL a certified sound level meter?
No. LIVE TOOLS supports calibration of the microphone and input chain for meaningful absolute SPL work, while clearly distinguishing uncalibrated relative readings. A certified measurement instrument is still required where regulatory or standards-compliant measurement is necessary.
Can I export my setlist?
Yes. SET supports PDF export and lets individual songs and sections be included or excluded.
Can ANALYZE freeze the spectrum?
Yes. Freeze preserves the current spectrum for inspection, while a separate trailing decay view follows recent peaks.
Does WIFI change my router channel automatically?
No. LIVE TOOLS analyzes the RF environment and recommends channels. Network configuration stays under your control.
